Dear Pioneer Students and Families,
Welcome to the new school year! We hope everyone had a restful and safe summer break. As we gather again for the first day of school tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7th we are reminded of our school's theme this year: "Coming to the Table." This theme highlights the importance of collaboration, compassion, and teamwork in everything we do.
In the spirit of "Coming to the Table," we encourage everyone to bring their talents, support, and partnership to create a safe and positive school climate with high standards for all students. Over the last few days, you have received messages through ParentSquare about many of our school standards for dress code, technology, and attendance. Please take some time to review them with your student and partner with us as we work together to create a community where everyone feels valued and respected.
As many of you may know, our school is undergoing significant modernization and construction projects. These improvements are designed to enhance our learning environment and provide the best facilities for our students. However, with progress comes a bit of disruption. You may notice some "dust and boxes" around the campus. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Additionally, many of our dedicated teachers have moved classrooms over the summer and have only recently gained access to their new spaces. They are working diligently to prepare their rooms to provide a welcoming and effective learning environment. Please extend some grace and patience as they finalize these preparations.
Despite these changes and challenges, we believe that the best part of our school is the people. Our students, teachers, staff, and families form a community that is second to none. We are confident that, together, we will make this school year a fantastic one!
We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and remember to arrive early to find your first-period class. You can check Aeries for your student’s most up-to-date schedule, due to class balancing there may have been some changes in your student’s schedule.
