Western offers a variety of sports throughout the school year. Sports are divided into three seasons: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Additionally, Western offers both Boys' and Girls' teams. All students are highly encouraged to tryout and join a team, or teams!

Western High School Athletic Department
Welcome to the Western High School Athletic Department, Home of the Pioneers. Western offers 24 Varsity Sports and is a proud member of the California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) assigned to the Orange League. Our school is rich in tradition and has a successful history dating back 60+ years. Our Athletic Department Staff is comprised of dedicated, supportive and motivated people working with the youth of our community in hopes of developing academically sound and athletically strong student/athletes.
All new and returning athletes should navigate to our Eligibility Documents page to obtain all of the paperwork required to participate in athletics at Western High School.
