Magnolia families welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! Magnolia is a great place to work and I look forward to teaching your students everyday. This is my 13th year teaching at Magnolia and it is an honor for me to serve the students of this community. The goal in all of my classes is to cultivate civic minded students that will become active participants in the great experiment that is The United States of America.
AP U.S. Government/Principles of Economics - The AP course in U.S. Government and Politics provides an analytical perspective on government and politics in the United States. This course involves both the study of general concepts used to interpret U.S. politics and the analysis of specific case studies. It also requires familiarity with the various institutions, groups, beliefs, and ideas that constitute the U.S. political arena. The Economics course provides students with a mastery of fundamental economic concepts in order to understand the operations and institutions of economic systems and how those apply to government operations.
Class resources will be up on my Haiku page soon!
