- Program Runs From: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM - **Thursdays late start 9:30 am-1:00 pm
- Maximum Capacity: 25 students per day
- Lunch: Continues to be free for the 23/24 school year
- Referrals: Grades for 7th and 12th grade students
- Under the influence of alcohol/drugs
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Considerations when referral for behavioral issues: Avoid sending students with more severe behavior problems (e.g, history of aggression towards others, has symptoms of suicidality or self-harm, acts impulsively and continuously interrupts the classroom, and/or does not consider or understand consequences of his/her behavior.)
- Students with Disabilities
- Please make sure to identify SWD students on the Referral & Consent Form Ms. Carrillo will work with the Special Education teachers and IAs in the special education classrooms/program next to hers.
TRANSPORTATION:
It is the parents’ responsibility to transport the student, but help is available if needed.
Determine if:
- Parent will transport
- Student will walk to the program
- District bus - ONLY for South, Ball, Sycamore, Katella
- Public Transportation (Daily bus passes are available)
- Please check with your site FACES or Ms. Carrillo for bus passes. Supply depends on availability. For special circumstances, contact the McKinney-Vento office. Contact: Elizabeth Lorz (lorz_e or 714-404-4170)
REQUIRED ACTIONS:

- Use this to refer and document consent for both the Pathways to Success and Tobacco Tuesday
- Use the hard copy at your site when you are able to obtain written consent, to document verbal consent, and to use as talking points. (Place these at a centralized location at your site for future reference)
- You must still email the Tobacco Tuesday consent form for either verbal or written consent
