I have been teaching math in AUHSD and at Western for 18 years (20 years overall). Previous to that I taught math in the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District and coached mens' soccer for 7 years (5 years at Western). I first attended Riverside Community College after high school and obtained an Associates in Science degree. I transferred to Cal State Fullerton and graduated with Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. In addition, I have a Master's degree in Educational Technology with an emphasis in Mathematics. Classroom Rules / Teacher Expectations

1. 1. Follow classroom instructions 1st time given.
   2. Bring all needed materials to class everyday (pencils, lined paper, graph paper, scientific calculator and textbooks).
   3. Raise your hand to speak when spoken to.
   4. Keep hands and objects to yourself.
   5. Use common courtesy and treat others with respect. That includes the use of appropriate language.
   6. Consume food (gum) and beverages outside the classroom. Chewing of anything (plastic, paper, paperclips, rubber bands, your tongue, etc.) is prohibited. Water is the only acceptable beverage to drink.
2. 7. Application of lotions, makeup, and grooming is not permitted.
   8. Cellular phones are to be turned off while in class. If they go off in my class they will be taken away and given to the appropriate administrator when time permits.
3. 9. Do not go behind my desk for any reason.
   10. Respect the learning process.
