Derek Bean
I am a proud AUHSD alumni and happy to work in the district as as teacher at Loara High School. I am committed to helping students find their path and understand that many roads lead to success. My journey is an example of this as I have worked as a custodian and warehouse worker before returning to college as an adult to finish my degree and become a teacher. I have been married to Amanda for 25 years and have two children, Chris and Katie. I enjoy watching sports and spending time with my family.
