Welcome to the Maintenance and Operations homepage for the Anaheim Union High School District. Our dedicated maintenance staff provides services to twenty-one locations comprising of over 2.7 million square feet of building space and 10 million square feet of athletic turf areas.
Our mission is to support and enahnce the academic success of the students in our district by providing clean, safe and healthy learning environments while remaining fiscally responsible.
The maintenance department is comprised of trade-workers and skilled laborers responsible for the repair and maintenance of buildings and equipment. This includes air conditioning/heating units, swimming pools, plumbing and electrical systems, painting and many other buildling trades. In addition to building maintenance, the department also oversees energy use, waste management and conservation programs.
The operations side of the department includes custodial, pest control and grounds. We have twenty-one plant managers that oversee custodial and athletic facility operations throughout the District. Our grounds department is responsible for weekly landscape maintenance, tree trimming and other activities associated with the upkeep our our landscaped and athletic areas.
The Maintenance and Operations Department relies on a computerized maintenance management program to process the intake and assignment of work orders for repairs at our schools. We complete approximately 15,000 work orders per year. More information about our department can be found on the menu to the right, or by using the following links.
